MakeMake (MAH-kay MAH-kay). I think this is a terrible spelling. They should have spelled it phonetically and split it into two words or forget the capital in the middle:

Mahke Mahke or mahkemahke

Think of the Hawaiian spelling for the Dorado fish:
Mahi Mahi or Mahimahi
Not
MaiMai

Makemake? No offense to the Polynesians, but what a pitiful name. Maybe it was a bad translation.

Alternative to Ares

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25678645/

Interesting, but the horse has left the barn. The Constellation collection of rockets will have heavy lift, so I'm not sure what they are talking about when they say we are going to lose our heavy lift capability. It will be gone until the Ares V is built, but from what I know the Ares V will be enough to go to the Moon & Mars.
